FAQ — Paceline Wealth Management, LLC

How does Paceline make money?

Paceline is a fee-only firm, which means that we are compensated for providing financial advice to clients, and we do not accept sales commissions, on anything.

Many advisors are also licensed to sell investment or insurance products for commissions (aka fee-based) which can create conflicts of interest. We don’t do that.

We have a transparent fee schedule, and because our fees are tied to the value of your client accounts our own financial interests are aligned with clients.

Who does Paceline work with?

Paceline is focused upon delivering value to clients who fit into two main categories. Tech professionals and executives who have employer stock options, and people seeking financial and retirement planning.

Financial advice is highly personalized, and we seek to add value by working with clients that can draw upon our core areas of expertise.

Absolutely. Paceline can partner with your existing CPA or estate planning professionals, or make introductions to professionals within our network if you are looking for one.

Clients are best served when all of their financial, tax, and legal needs are met, and there is no additional cost to work with your existing team of professionals.

Where are client accounts held?

Clients open accounts through Shareholders Service Group (SSG), which provides operational support to independent investment advisors serving affluent clients.

SSG has selected Pershing as its custodian, which is responsible for holding client assets.

How are client accounts transferred?

We will prepare all necessary paperwork to open your new accounts, and once your new accounts have opened we’ll transfer your assets from their current custodian to our platform.

Before implementing any changes to your portfolio, we’ll walk through our investment recommendation and how we plan to invest your money.

How do I view my accounts online?

Paceline client site - clients can view their financial plan and securely share financial information with their advisor through their Paceline client site, which provides access to our financial planning software.

Account access – clients may also log into NetXInvestor which is the client portal through our custodian (Pershing). Here clients can view account balances and holdings, and download account statements and tax forms.
